Panthers to Pitchforks Green Ride
Saturday, November 5 from 11am-3pm, starting at Lil Bobby Hutton Park (Defermery Park), West Oakland.
Come and experience the heart of Oakland through a sustainable West Oakland bike tour. Learn how the neighborhood that birthed the Black Panther Party continues to strive against issues of environmental and racial injustice. Tour stops include community gardens, toxic sites and sustainable businesses. Community leaders will be taking part.

Food Justice Youth Field Trip
Tuesday, November 8th from 9am-3pm in downtown Oakland.
The event will feature over 60 students from neighboring High Schools participating in hands on workshops, visual art, live performances and interactive presentations. Presenting Organizations and Partners include Peoples Grocery, Phat Beets, Grind for the Green, Jennifer Johns, Mandela Marketplace, Seasonz, California Endowment, Alliance for Climate Education and more!
